Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Nova Presswire.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Nova Presswire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Nova Presswire ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Nova Presswire provides press release distribution and syndication services, including but not limited to content publishing, distribution through news channels, RSS/Atom/NewsML-G2 syndication, AI optimization, editorial review, analytics reporting, and related tools. The specific features available to you depend on your selected subscription plan or per-release purchase.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Organizations and Team Access
The Service supports multi-tenant organizations with role-based access control. Organization owners are responsible for managing team member access and permissions. By inviting team members to your organization, you authorize them to perform actions within their assigned role scope. Organization owners are responsible for the content submitted by all team members within their organization.
5. Subscription Plans and Payments
The Service offers various subscription plans and per-release pricing as described on our pricing page. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Per-release fees are charged at the time of submission. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
6. Credits and Usage
Subscription plans include a specified number of release credits per billing cycle. Unused credits may roll over as described in your plan terms. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts or organizations. If your subscription is cancelled or downgraded, unused credits may be forfeited at the end of the current billing period.
7. Content Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant Nova Presswire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, syndicate, and display your content through our distribution channels and partner networks for the purpose of providing the Service. This license continues after publication to allow for archival and continued syndication.
8. Content Standards
All content submitted through the Service must comply with our Editorial Guidelines. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify content that violates our guidelines, applicable laws, or these Terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe on any third-party rights. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
9. Editorial Review
All press releases undergo editorial review before publication. We reserve the right to request revisions, delay publication, or reject content at our sole discretion. Editorial review is a quality assurance process and does not constitute legal review, fact-checking, or endorsement of your content. Typical review timelines are provided as estimates and are not guaranteed.
10. Distribution
We will distribute your approved content through the channels included in your selected plan. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure broad distribution, we do not guarantee placement on any specific third-party platform, news outlet, or media channel. Distribution availability may vary based on third-party policies and technical factors outside our control.
11. AI and Technology Services
The Service may include AI-powered features such as content optimization, authoring assistance, and AI platform distribution. These features are provided as tools to assist your content creation and distribution. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from AI features, including but not limited to placement in AI models like ChatGPT or Gemini. AI-generated suggestions should be reviewed and approved by you before use.
12. Analytics and Reporting
We provide analytics and reporting on content performance as part of the Service. Analytics data, including view counts, engagement metrics, and distribution reports, are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, analytics data may be subject to technical limitations, bot filtering, and processing delays. Analytics data should not be relied upon as the sole measure of content performance.
13. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, technology, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Nova Presswire and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our express written permission. The Nova Presswire name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks.

15. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to: distribute spam, malware, or malicious content; engage in any form of market manipulation or securities fraud; impersonate any person or entity; interfere with or disrupt the Service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without authorization; or use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
16. Refund Policy
Full refunds are available for press releases that have not yet been published. For subscription plans, you may cancel at any time and continue to use the Service until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Add-on services are non-refundable once the associated release has been submitted for editorial review.
17. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in activity that threatens the integrity of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though published content may remain in syndication.
18. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy practices. We collect, store, and process personal data as necessary to provide the Service. This includes account information, content data, usage analytics, and payment information. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. The Service integrates with or links to third-party services including but not limited to payment processors, news aggregators, and distribution partners. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. Integration with third-party platforms does not constitute endorsement.

23. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nova Presswire, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; your content; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
24. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, internet outages, power failures, or third-party service disruptions.
25. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nova Presswire is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. 26. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation by contacting us through our contact page. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue available legal remedies.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
28. Entire Agreement

These Terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
